Antavo’s approval mechanism helps to identify if settings and customer data have been modified righteously before the changes are live. Besides Backoffice administrators, users who have the right to update Roles can grant approval rights to other users by adding the ‘Content Approvalapproval' permissions to the Permission Mask.

Find the configuration page of the Approvals Content approvals module by clicking on the ‘Modules’ icon in the sidebar , and or typing 'Content approvals' into the search bar of the Modules menu.
Settings
Use the Settings page to define the basic mechanisms of the module:
Enabled modules
Enable the approval mechanism for each module by selecting them from the dropdown list. Approvals can be enabled for the Events, Workflows, and Reward modules.Notifications
Pending notifications
Users with approver rights may receive email notifications that there are new changes to be reviewed. There are 3 options available to select the frequency of these notifications:For each approval - the notification is sent every time a modification is made in the settings of the enabled modules
Periodically - the notification is sent based on the interval that you can configure in the ‘Digest interval’ field, which appears when this option is selected
Never - approvers will not get any notification, they can get informed on pending updates on the Backoffice interfaces only
Personnel - select the list of users to be notified that a new change is waiting for approval
Necessarily, only users with approver rights can be added.

Approve/Reject changes
When clicking on On the Approvals tab, the page opens up to you can find the list of changes that are currently waiting for approval . Users with approver rights will receive an email notification that there’s a new change that should be handled.with the following information:
Date of change submission
The user who submitted the change
Type of the change
- Workflow and Reward changes
- Event changes
Type of the entity to be changed
Only applicable to entity changes, either Workflow or RewardName of the entity item or event
Number of submitted changes
To approve or reject a change:
Click the ‘Review’ button next to the change that you’d like to approve or reject

When rejecting a change you can also add a short explanation in the popup that subsequently appears.
Please note, that if more fields have been changed, you cannot choose to approve some field changes and reject others, all changes will be approved or rejected.

When a change has been approved or rejected, the user who submitted the change will be notified via email. The email includes the explanation and (if any), the date of approval/rejection, the name of the entity that has been changed, and a CTA to edit the entity again.
History
The History tab reveals collects the list of changes that have already been approved/rejected by an approver.

Export records
Click the ‘Export’ button in the sidebar to export content approval records in .csv and .psv formats through the Exports module.
Exportable attributes include the timestamp, user, action, member ID, before and after values for manual tier changes; the number of balance points changed, and the latest points balance for manual point adjustments.
