The Pending events module lets you confirm customer events before they are registered in the customer’s event history and automatic mechanisms are activated (eg. rewarding customer actions with points, having workflows triggered, or coupons being assigned).
When handling pending transactions, please make sure you use either the Pending events module or the Checkout accept module. We recommend to keep using the module and the configuration that has been implemented, or contact the Antavo Service Desk in case you need changes.
Find the configuration page of the Pending events module by clicking the Modules icon in the sidebar and typing 'Pending events' into the search bar of the Modules menu. The page will open to the Events tab with the list of events that are currently pending with the following information:
Date - event registration date
Expires in - the date when the event is being automatically validated/invalidated based on the configured settings
Customer ID
External ID - the ID of the transaction affected
Only applicable for events where the Transaction ID is available.Action - the name of the event

Under the Settings tab, you can configure the mechanism of the automatic validation or invalidations of pending events.

Use this field to select the actions that are affected/not affected (depending on the previous setting) by the configured pending event mechanism.
If you use the Checkout accept module, please note that checkout-related events cannot be added to Pending events.
Manual validation and invalidation
By clicking the ‘Edit’ button on the list of pending events on the Events tab, you can find detailed information about the specific event and manually approve or reject it before it is handled by the automatic mechanism.
Navigate to the ‘Events’ tab of the Pending events module configuration page
Click the ‘Edit’ button by the event you want to handle
Click ‘Validate event’ or ‘Invalidate the event’ to approve or reject the event, respectively
Once you hit validate or invalidate the event, the invalidation or validation cannot be undone and the event will disappear from the list od pending events.
Compatibility with the Multi-accounts module
The pending event, that is registered when an event arrives that should be pending, gets assigned to the same account as the incoming event. Learn more about accounts here.
